Admission Criteria

• Male 18 years or older
   

• Have a drug or alcohol problem
   

• Be medically stable and ambulatory
   

• No prescribed narcotic or psychotropic drugs
   

• Be alcohol and drug free for at least seven days
   

• Agree to abide by all House rules, participate in a daily schedule and rotate responsibility for household chores
   

• Have a strong commitment to change and participate in a recovery network
   

• Be willing to seek and obtain employment and work towards independent living
   

• No sex offenders

Applicants should contact His Joshua House for an interview, expressing the desire to seek recovery from alcohol or drug abuse and commit to 90 days of residency.
